The Company of Adventurers presented Twelfth Night as part of the 2016 “Shakespeare 400” festivities in Ottawa! “Shakespeare 400” was a festival of events celebrating the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death, including plays, concerts, talks, contests, art exhibits, and more, culminating in a conference on “Shakespeare and Canada” on the weekend of Shakespeare’s April 23rd birthday.
Our group played to four sold-out audiences at the Avalon Theatre in the Glebe. The British Council sent us complimentary “Shakespeare” masks in honour of the event. The photo shows the group in the Avalon donning their masks.
